John Hernandez is an accomplished businessman. His diverse career path has allowed him to obtain extensive experience in client management, business development, operations management and community involvement.
In July 2015, John was named President/CEO of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He previously served two terms as a board member and brings a wealth of organizational history to the position. Prior to serving as President, John founded and operated his own small business for 7 years. That experience allows him to understand and address the challenges faced by small business owners and entrepreneurs. In addition, Hernandez has worked in corporate settings, first as a Private Banker with Bank of America and subsequently as a Vice President on JPMorgan’s Fort Worth wealth management team.
John holds his BA from Midwestern State University where he was selected to participate in an international internship to study at Tec de Monterey in Chihuahua, Mexico. He also went on to receive his MBA from Southern Methodist University (SMU).
John is a native Texan with a passion for classic cars and supports stay-in-school initiatives.
